Mind the Gap

The origin of the title of my blog - Mind the Gap. Since I'm a subway user and this blog is about my Toronto 'adventures' or lack thereof, I'm using the title from Toronto's subway system signs. "Mind the gap" is a warning to subway passengers to remind them of the sometimes significant gap between the subway door and the station platform. It originated in London's tube system. And since I've also been to London, so I think I'm entitled to use it because it's somewhat relevant to my travel experiences. This is the original London version of "Mind the Gap" (and a much better one):

Thanks for the explanation friend! I like that title. It's like the space between the curb and train is a metaphore for the space between your right ear and left ear, and it's a disclaimer for all of the stupid things that you might write.

Haha. Just kidding.

But I like it cause it's MIND the gap as opposed to WATCH OUT FOR the gap. Mind the gap sound so much more refined and British.
